Dubai cares about those with disabilities irrespective of whether they are citizens, residents or visitors.

Dubai Civil Aviation and DNATA have dedicated personalized services at Dubai Airport which is fully equipped with accessible facilities for special needs passengers, while an increasing number of public areas and hotels now have access
and facilities with specially adapted rooms and facilities for people with special needs.

Dubai Tourism provides information on tour operators who cater for persons with disabilities while Dubai Transport has a special booking facility for Dubai Taxis.

The government has always supported special needs education, it is the special needs schools distributed allover the emirate who have especially given hope to children with special needs.

At the national level, UAE Interact has a special section which is updated regularly; The Dubai Club for Special Sports & INDEX organizes the Dubai International Rehabilitation Forum- REHAB Dubai which is totally dedicated for people with
disabilities and the UAE Guardian’s Association provides social and psychological support for parents and guardians of those with special needs
